December 18, 2018
Allen Industries has been named to the 2018 Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® (NC100), which ranks the state’s largest private companies by revenue. The complete list was released in the October issue of Business North Carolina.
“We are thrilled to be named to the 2018 Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® list and recognized as a top-performing private company in our state,” said Tom Allen, president of Allen Industries. “This list reaffirms our commitment to North Carolina and our focus on manufacturing and innovation.” Allen Industries was founded in Greensboro in 1931 and we have grown our corporate headquarters here in the triad to two locations as well as expanding across the US. We have established ourselves as one of the largest manufacturers of signage and building elements in the US with a strong reputation for the quality of our products and customer service.
North Carolina, particularly the triad area, has seen a resurgence in manufacturing and Allen is excited to be a part of that growth. We recently hosted a Sign Day event bringing in hundreds of students from local high schools and community colleges to show them the opportunities available in the sign manufacturing industry right here in Greensboro.
